Terms and Conditions

Weather conditions

I aim to implement outdoor sessions throughout the seasons. However, there are some occasions where it may not be safe or practical to go ahead with a planned session due to extreme weather. Where possible, I will notify in advance if the weather is due to be so severe that the session will have to be cancelled. Unfortunately, this may occasionally be on the morning of the session, but I will endeavour to give as much warning as possible. If possible I will offer an alternative date.                 f9

Clothing

Appropriate clothing is to be worn for each session by both adults and children. See clothing list. If clothing is unsuitable and thought to be unsafe, you or your child may be unable to participate in the session.

Illness/ Extenuating circumstances

Should I have to cancel a session due to illness or extenuating circumstances, I will endeavour to give as much notice as possible. Where possible I will offer an alternative date. If you, your child or the school are unable to attend a session, please give as much notice as possible. Refunds will only be offered in exceptional circumstances. Refunds cannot be offered if you cannot make a session due to illness.

Feedback and Concerns

I encourage all participants to give regular feedback about their experience and also to talk about anything that is causing concern. Feedback can be expressed verbally in person or by telephone, or in writing by email. I will always endeavour to be as open, honest and as straightforward as possible with regard to any issue, maintaining a two-way flow of information can lead to resolutions before problems arise or escalate.     P1290235

Philosophy

Children benefit most from regular, repeated visits to Forest School. The longer children attend Forest School, the greater the magic you will see in their development. Therefore, sessions may only be purchased for a whole block, it is not a ‘drop in’ type group and sessions cannot be purchased one at a time.
